HIGH SCHOOL DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAM
Begin your journey in High School. Through a partnership with Santa Fe Community College, School Board of Alachua County, and the Builders Association of North Central Florida, high school juniors and seniors now have the opportunity to dual enroll at SFCC in the School of Construction at SFCC for technical education in heating and air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. This exciting new program enrolled its first students in the Fall 2006 Semester.

TWO-YEAR & FOUR-YEAR DEGREES
The Building Construction program at Santa Fe Community College provides construction management training for entry-level practitioners in residential and light commercial construction. Two-year technical degrees are available where you can go direct to a jobsite or two-year preparation for transfer to a university such as the University of Florida where you can complete a degree in Building Construction (or related fields) or go on to complete a masters or PhD in any construction related field.

TASK TRAINING
The Builders Association of North Central Florida will be partnering with SFCC and other organizations to provide specialized training and educational seminars for anyone in the construction field. Employers can request specific task training for their employees and classes of general interest are under development such as Superintendent Training, Management, Leadership Development, and Computer Classes.
